Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

KRFS is seeking a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard its digital platforms, applications, systems, and sensitive financial data. You will work closely with IT, development, compliance, and risk teams to monitor threats, investigate incidents, and implement robust security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, networks, applications, and systems for suspicious activity.
• Identify, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation of security weaknesses.
• Support penetration testing and security assessments of applications and infrastructure.
• Implement and monitor security controls, access controls, and authentication mechanisms.
• Investigate phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
• Maintain incident reports, security documentation, and audit records.
• Assist in cybersecurity and compliance audits and stay updated on emerging threats.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, especially under pressure.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

Required skills

• Network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, RBI IT guidelines).
• Understanding of data protection regulations and encryption standards.
• Incident response and threat monitoring capabilities.
