Software Engineer II – Cloud & AI

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer II to design and deliver scalable web and cloud applications for Diligent’s governance, risk and compliance platform. The role focuses on building modern backend services, responsive front‑ends, and AI‑enabled features using Node.js, React, TypeScript and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Build responsive front‑end applications using React.
• Design and implement integrations with AWS services and manage cloud‑native deployments.
• Write efficient SQL queries and maintain PostgreSQL and MSSQL schemas.
• Containerize applications with Docker and operate CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled product features using Python, AWS Bedrock, RAG and related frameworks.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Proven experience building cloud‑based applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and container technologies.
