Software Engineer II – CI/CD Platform Tooling

About the role

Join Nike's Engineering Excellence team as a Software Engineer II focused on CI/CD and platform tooling. You will help build and maintain the developer tools that power Nike's global engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship features for Nike's CI/CD platform consolidation, including GitHub Actions workflows and pipeline tooling.
• Migrate legacy build and deployment tools to a unified, well‑architected platform.
• Create integrations between GitHub, artifact management systems, and downstream deployment pipelines.
• Write reliable, well‑tested code that handles build failures, dependency conflicts, and deployment edge cases.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to automation scripts that improve developer productivity.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to deliver results in an agile engineering team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Golang, React, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of containerization fundamentals.
• Familiarity with version control workflows using GitHub.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, build pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
