Software Engineer I (NodeJS, Python, Go) – Bengaluru

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer I to help build and scale AiPrise’s AI‑powered compliance platform. You will work across backend APIs, microservices, data pipelines, integrations, and customer‑facing tools, delivering reliable solutions for KYC, KYB, AML and fraud prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production features for backend APIs, data pipelines, and case‑management tools.
• Own features end‑to‑end, from requirements through implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build scalable REST APIs and microservices that integrate with compliance vendors.
• Develop KYB/AML case‑management workflows and business logic.
• Create data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and routing compliance data.
• Integrate third‑party identity and compliance APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, tested, and documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and improving system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for production features.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and customer‑success teams.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or a similar backend language.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Good understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and modern deployment practices.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
