About the role
Mastercard’s Payment Networks team is seeking a Software Engineer I to drive customer experience strategy through innovative Java backend solutions. You will work in a cloud‑native, CI/CD environment within a Scaled Agile Framework.
Key responsibilities
- Develop high‑quality Java applications using Spring Boot and event‑driven architecture.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and leverage cloud frameworks for deployment.
- Choose appropriate persistence mechanisms (RDBMS, NoSQL) based on business needs.
- Conduct proofs‑of‑concept and ensure code quality through best‑practice gates.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional Mastercard groups to deliver project success.
Required profile
- 0.5–1.5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong object‑oriented design and programming skills.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Effective communication and teamwork in an Agile setting.
