Software Engineer I – Front End Development (Angular)

About the role

Deloitte Digital is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its Front End Development team. You will work on creating responsive, component‑based web applications that bring client ideas to life across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Translate wireframes, mockups and requirement documents into clean, maintainable code.
• Develop rich GUI websites that are responsive and work seamlessly across devices.
• Build and maintain component‑based architectures using frameworks such as Angular, Ember, React or Vue.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests following Test‑Driven Development principles.
• Design and implement APIs in a server‑side language of choice and understand end‑to‑end application architecture.
• Configure server settings and work with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Required profile

• Entry‑level software engineer with a passion for front‑end development.
• Self‑motivated learner who stays up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Angular (or similar component frameworks such as Ember, React, Vue).
• JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Node.js ecosystem and server‑side programming.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
• Test‑Driven Development, unit testing and end‑to‑end testing.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
