Java Full Stack Developer – Core Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join its India centre in Bengaluru. The role supports Digital Manufacturing by building and maintaining internal Java services and applications used across wafer fabs in Singapore, the USA and Dresden.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug and deploy applications using Spring Boot and Angular.
• Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate them on AWS ECS and run them on AWS EC2 instances.
• Translate fab stakeholder requirements into predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with GFIT and the Manufacturing Data Domain group to build scalable data pipelines.
• Work with users, developers, DBAs and engineers to implement new functionality and resolve issues.
• Support day‑to‑day operations and troubleshoot application problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with at least 1 year.
• Strong Java programming skills and solid understanding of relational databases.
• Proficiency in Angular, Java/J2EE, REST, Spring Boot and database tools such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Redshift.
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA and version‑control/CI‑CD tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
