About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Lead to drive our news‑first digital presence. You will shape strategy, create compelling content, and optimise monetisation across major social platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow social media presence across platforms.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging, news‑focused content.
- Develop strategies to increase audience reach, engagement and traffic.
- Drive and optimise Meta monetisation opportunities.
- Monitor trends, analytics and platform updates to maximise performance.
- Coordinate with editorial and creative teams for timely content execution.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of news, current affairs and social media ecosystems.
- Hands‑on experience with Meta monetisation and platform tools.
- Excellent Hindi writing and editing skills.
- Ability to identify trending topics and create high‑engagement content.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
