News Anchor

About the role

The school is seeking a fluent English anchor to present and host news, announcements, events, interviews and educational programmes in its studio. The role also includes responsibilities of a Public Relations Officer, managing the school’s public communication and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Present and host school news, announcements, events and interviews, delivering content confidently in fluent English.
• Prepare scripts, coordinate with the media/studio team and assist in creating engaging video content for school events and social media.
• Conduct interviews with students, teachers, guests and school officials, maintaining professional voice modulation and body language.
• Manage PR activities, maintain a positive image of DPS Nacharam and coordinate with media, journalists, photographers and external agencies.
• Prepare press releases, newsletters, announcements and other promotional content.
• Support video shoots, school programmes and coordinate with the school’s social‑media and marketing teams.
• Maintain records of media coverage, events and PR activities, and monitor online mentions.

Required profile

• Graduate in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies or a related field.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, confident on‑camera presence and creative communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, social media and marketing teams.
