Social Media & Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media & Community Manager to lead Healthians' online presence and community engagement across multiple platforms. The role involves creating compelling health‑focused content, fostering active discussions, and collaborating with medical experts to deliver trustworthy information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow Healthians' social media handles and community forum on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and WhatsApp.
• Drive daily conversations, polls, Q&As and other engagement‑led content.
• Plan and execute content calendars focused on preventive health, myth‑busting and expert insights.
• Moderate discussions to ensure credible, respectful and meaningful interactions.
• Collaborate with doctors, nutritionists and internal teams to produce expert‑led content.
• Track engagement and community growth metrics and report insights.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in community management or social media management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive health conversations with empathy and clarity.
• Basic understanding of health, wellness or healthcare content (health‑tech experience a plus).
• Data‑driven mindset with experience tracking engagement metrics.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience managing Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and WhatsApp channels.
• Proficiency with AI‑powered content creation tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude.
