Senior Associate - Communications & ESG

About the role

Urban Company is seeking a Senior Associate to lead Communications and ESG initiatives. The role sits within the Communications team of the Marketing function and focuses on building awareness for new services, highlighting the impact on gig workers, and showcasing how the platform simplifies modern life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate communications and stakeholder‑engagement strategies.
• Prepare regional media plans aligned with business priorities and focus areas.
• Define communication strategies, activities and success metrics for the Indian market.
• Establish Urban Company as a reputable brand through PR and media outreach.
• Identify, build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (business leaders, technology, partner success, creative) to create comprehensive PR and communication campaigns.
• Produce communication tools that support internal stakeholders in enhancing the organization’s reputation.
• Monitor and assess campaign performance against defined metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, public relations or corporate communications.
• Strong ability to craft clear messaging and select appropriate dissemination platforms.
• Creative mindset with a track record of re‑imagining processes.
• Comfort working in a fast‑growing, dynamic environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
