SOC Manager – Cyber Defense & Engineering

About the role

PwC is looking for a SOC Manager to lead its Cyber Defense & Engineering Advisory services in Airoli. You will oversee the security operations centre, drive threat detection, and ensure the protection of client systems and data across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and detect threats 24/7, analysing suspicious or malicious activity.
• Perform alert triage, initial assessment, incident validation, and severity rating.
• Prioritise security alerts and create incidents according to established SOPs.
• Coordinate reporting and escalation of incidents to senior stakeholders.
• Manage SOC platforms, automation workflows, asset integration and threat‑intel feeds.
• Lead threat‑hunting initiatives and vulnerability‑management programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SOC/Incident Management (L1) or 4 years for senior (L2) roles.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, round‑the‑clock environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on proactive security solutions.
