SOC Manager – Cyber Defense & Engineering (Advisory)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Manager to lead its Security Operations Centre (SOC) within the Cyber Defense & Engineering Advisory practice. Based in Airoli, you will oversee the delivery of threat monitoring, detection and response services for clients, ensuring the protection of their critical assets and data.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 threat monitoring and detection across client environments.
• Analyze suspicious, malicious, or abnormal behavior and conduct alert triage.
• Validate incidents, assess severity and urgency, and prioritize alerts according to SOPs.
• Create and manage incident tickets, coordinate response actions and escalation.
• Lead vulnerability management and threat intelligence activities, including asset integration and automation.
• Mentor junior SOC analysts and drive continuous improvement of SOC processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years (L1) or 4 years (L2) of hands‑on experience in SOC, incident management, threat detection engineering, vulnerability management or related fields.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced environments and handle multiple security alerts simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to report findings and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
