Site Store Keeper / Material Manager

About the role

STRUCT REHAB is seeking a full‑time Site Store Keeper / Material Manager to oversee receipt, storage and issue of construction materials on site in Mumbai. The role is hybrid, allowing some remote work while maintaining a strong on‑site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store construction materials, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Issue materials to project teams according to daily requirements.
• Coordinate procurement activities and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track material consumption and forecast future needs.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and reconcile material transaction records and basic bookkeeping entries.
• Use inventory tracking software to generate reports for project managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control and material handling within construction.
• Familiarity with vendor coordination, procurement processes and supply‑chain management.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and ability to maintain detailed material transaction logs.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills to work with project staff and external vendors.
• Understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements for construction sites and storage facilities.
