Site Manager – Proton Therapy Installation

About the role

IBA is seeking a Site Manager to lead the installation and start‑up of its second Proton Therapy centre in Hyderabad. The role oversees a multidisciplinary team during an 18‑month mission that includes pre‑assignment training and transition to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of one logistics & administrative assistant and seven engineers responsible for the installation of the IBA Proteus One proton therapy system.
• Promote health and safety standards on site and ensure compliance with IBA and customer requirements.
• Coordinate overall site activities, manage project priorities, and supervise logistics, material handling, and subcontractor interactions.
• Set up quality processes, maintain documentation, and control quality throughout the installation.
• Prepare budget reports, document activities, and develop improvement plans.
• Provide local accounting support and ensure strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage human‑resource tasks such as time policy, planning, and performance culture for the team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electro‑mechanics, Mechanics or Biomedical).
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in medical or industrial environments.
• Solid technical background in Proton Therapy or related subsystems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
