Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager will lead end‑to‑end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on‑time delivery while meeting customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise site activities for substation construction, erection, testing and commissioning.
• Manage site and contractor manpower, monitor KPIs and ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of 400/220/132 kV power transformers, breakers, CT/PT, control panels, relays, ACDB, SCADA and battery systems.
• Prepare and enforce EHS documentation, PTW and LOTO processes in line with industry safety standards.
• Handle customer interactions, technical troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in O&M, erection, testing or commissioning of high‑voltage substation assets.
• Strong knowledge of AIS/GIS substation configurations and operation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and customer‑handling skills.

Required skills

• AIS and GIS substation configuration expertise.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of transformers, breakers, CT/PT, control panels, relays, ACDB, SCADA and battery chargers.
• Implementation of EHS guidelines, PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Site manpower management and contractor coordination.
