Shopify Web Developer

About the role

Proffus is seeking a skilled Web Developer to design, build and maintain Shopify‑based e‑commerce sites. You will work closely with clients to deliver responsive, user‑friendly online stores that meet performance and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Shopify e‑commerce websites.
• Customize Shopify themes, including layout changes, styling and custom feature integration.
• Integrate and configure Shopify apps and plugins such as payment gateways, inventory management and marketing tools.
• Implement security measures to protect customer data.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions, themes and customisations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, provide technical guidance and offer ongoing support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Shopify developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
