Service Technician – Wind Farm Operations (Tremuson/Vannes)

About the role

Join Vestas, the French leader in wind energy, as a Service Technician supporting wind farms in the Tremuson‑Vannes area. After a six‑month training period in Tremuson, you will be based in Vannes, working on the optimisation and maintenance of wind turbines throughout their life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic service inspections on wind turbines following Vestas specifications, covering electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Area Supervisor and regional team members (technicians, planners, storekeepers) to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to secure long‑term loyalty.
• Adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.

Required profile

• You have completed Youth Training (NVQ Level 1‑2), a BTEC First Diploma or a high‑school diploma with experience in technical fields such as maintenance, electrical engineering or mechanics.
• Good written and oral technical English and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Autonomous, results‑oriented, with strong communication skills and team spirit.
• Willingness to travel, work at height and commit to safety procedures.
