Service Manager - Charging Infrastructure

About the role

Exponent Energy, which builds the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station) for 15-minute rapid EV charging, is hiring a Service Manager for its After Sales team in Bengaluru. The team works across several cities and supports the deployment of charging infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Network support and SOPs: collaborate with the central team so that SOPs and best practices are followed everywhere, manage field operations, give technical support and troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Plan e^pump installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts and equipment, and guide internal teams and customers technically.
• Follow safety protocols, quality standards and uptime targets.
• EV Power liaison: work with local distribution companies (DISCOMs) to secure reliable power for charging stations, identify contractors who can obtain EV power in the territory, understand local rules and keep power costs as expected.
• Stakeholder relationship management: build relationships with landlords, charge point operators and business owners, and coordinate with local operations teams.
• Billing and reimbursement: oversee generation, timely payment and reimbursement of electricity bills and ensure accurate billing against financial agreements.
• Single point of contact for local operations teams, answering their queries and providing support.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience managing service operations in industries related to EV charging stations or cell towers.
• High sense of ownership and agility, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Quality of work, resilience and a resilient attitude to bounce back after failure.
