Service Engineer – Water Quality Solutions

About the role

As a Service Engineer you will drive recurring revenue by selling service contracts, spares and solutions for Hach water‑quality products across the assigned territory. You will work closely with Service, Sales and Operations teams to manage the installed base, renew contracts and convert break‑fix customers into contract customers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new service contract (AMC/CMC) bookings, renewals and spares sales for assigned accounts.
• Analyze customer installed‑base data to identify mandatory and recommended spares requirements.
• Prepare quotations in line with pricing guidelines and coordinate with field service engineers for contract execution.
• Maintain install‑base data, develop service revenue plans and track pipeline using Salesforce and ServiceMax.
• Identify coverage gaps, convert break‑fix customers to contract customers and support joint sales‑service initiatives.
• Build relationships with municipal customers, consultants, EPCs and channel partners.
• Ensure timely collection support and adherence to contract terms while meeting revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in service‑oriented sales or account management, preferably in the water‑treatment or instrumentation sector.
• Strong analytical skills to assess installed‑base data and forecast service revenue.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to engage municipal clients and channel partners.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
