Senior Travel Associate

About the role

The Senior Travel Associate will lead the planning and execution of domestic and international travel for the organization, ensuring smooth logistics and compliance with travel policies. This role supports employees and coordinates large‑scale travel for events and conferences.

Key responsibilities

• Book and manage flights, hotels, buses, trains, and cab services for both domestic and international travel.
• Handle airport pickups, city travel, and outstation cab arrangements.
• Process cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and manage unused ticket credits.
• Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, cab operators and other vendors.
• Organise bulk travel, accommodation, and transport for annual office events, conferences, workshops, and meetings.
• Use Zoho Trip to manage travel requests and bookings.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports covering bookings, cancellations, rescheduling, and travel spend.
• Verify vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide timely support for employee travel queries and changes.
• Ensure all travel arrangements comply with the organization’s travel policy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic and international travel bookings.
• Experience handling up to 500 bookings per month in a medium‑sized organization.
• Background in corporate travel management.
• Strong coordination, communication, follow‑up, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets.
• Experience with Zoho Trip (preferred).
