Senior Travel Advisor

About the role

Alike.io is seeking a Senior Travel Advisor to act as the bridge between customers and their next adventure. The role involves guiding travelers to create seamless, personalized itineraries while driving profitable bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with customers to understand travel preferences, budgets and requirements.
• Research and design bespoke travel itineraries using Alike.io’s online tools.
• Generate sales by identifying up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities and meeting booking targets.
• Manage bookings for accommodation, transport, tours and other travel services.
• Provide real‑time support to clients during their trips.
• Stay informed on global travel trends, destination updates and travel advisories.
• Collect and analyse traveler feedback to improve offerings.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and tech teams to share customer insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a customer‑facing role.
• Strong knowledge of popular destinations, cultures and travel trends.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
• Problem‑solving mindset with empathy for challenging customer situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with travel booking systems and related software.
