Senior Tax Services – German Business Tax

About the role

Deloitte Tax Services India is seeking an experienced Senior professional to join its German Business Tax team. You will work on a range of corporate tax compliance projects for German entities, supporting both group and standalone filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review simple to medium‑complexity group and standalone tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
• Oversee and manage the preparation and review process for these returns.
• Collaborate with team members and onshore stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Train new recruits and provide day‑to‑day guidance on assigned work.
• Support process standardisation and documentation initiatives.

Required profile

• Full‑time master’s degree in finance or an equivalent qualification.
• 4‑6 years of corporate tax experience, including preparation or review of tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proven experience collaborating with offshore or onshore teams on tax compliance deliverables.

Required skills

• Experience supporting German business tax engagements.
• Experience training or onboarding new team members.
• Experience with process standardisation or documentation initiatives.
• Familiarity with tax technology tools in a tax compliance environment.
