Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team in Gurgaon. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely compliance with Indian tax laws across direct and indirect taxes, while supporting tax planning and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall tax compliance for IMEA territories, ensuring statutory requirements are met.
• Manage corporate income tax, advance tax, TDS, TCS, and Pillar Two regulatory obligations, including calculations, payments, filings, and liaison with tax authorities.
• Handle transfer pricing documentation, inter‑company agreements, and related reporting.
• Lead GST compliance – monthly and annual return filing, input tax credit optimization, and monitoring legislative changes.
• Ensure VAT and Excise compliance, including return filing, excise duty payments, and customs‑related tax obligations.
• Coordinate tax audits, assessments, appeals, and provide support for statutory audits.
• Provide tax advisory and planning support, evaluating business proposals for tax impact and maintaining documentation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in Indian tax compliance covering direct (Income Tax, TDS, TCS) and indirect taxes (GST, VAT, Excise).
• Proven track record handling tax assessments, audits, and appeals.
• Strong knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and documentation.
• Ability to work with external consultants and coordinate multi‑jurisdictional tax filings.
• Experience in tax planning, advisory, and statutory reporting.
