Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the enterprise IT infrastructure supporting Shield AI's business operations. This role designs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise systems across cloud, endpoint, identity, server, and collaboration platforms while ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise infrastructure including cloud services, identity management, endpoint management, and collaboration platforms.
• Analyze system performance and operational metrics to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
• Lead technical implementation of enterprise IT projects and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services, endpoint management platforms, and networking fundamentals.
