Senior SRE – CloudVision as a Service (CVaaS)

About the role

Arista Networks is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own and operate the global CloudVision as a Service (CVaaS) fleet. You will work on a highly scalable Kubernetes‑based platform that powers networking for data centers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate critical production systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, observability, performance and security.
• Develop automation to eliminate toil and improve efficiency of production operations.
• Monitor, respond to, and enhance alerting pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and related OSS tools.
• Create and maintain incident response runbooks, post‑mortem documents and automated remediation.
• Design and implement new services with scalability, reliability and observability as primary requirements.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to identify and resolve infrastructural bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and software troubleshooting skills in large‑scale environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux/UNIX administration and debugging.
• Experience operating complex software systems at scale and using infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
