Senior Specialist Project Manager

About the role

This role is based in Mumbai, India within Abbott’s Nutrition Division. The Senior Specialist Project Manager will ensure access to high‑quality ingredients by leading efficient ingredient qualification projects, collaborating with regional and global cross‑functional teams, and focusing on India‑based initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and direct local India, regional, and selected global ingredient qualification projects, ensuring timely completion aligned with business objectives.
• Act as the primary project management contact for India‑based stakeholders while coordinating with regional and global teams to maintain alignment with Abbott’s ingredient qualification governance.
• Identify critical project issues and risks and communicate them promptly to leadership and other project leads.
• Interface with external suppliers to gather quality, regulatory, and compliance information required for ingredient qualification.
• Utilize established IT systems and tools to execute qualification projects and support project tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing ingredient qualification projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong ability to coordinate timelines and collaborate with internal cross‑functional partners and external suppliers.
• Effective communication of project risks and issues to leadership.
