Senior Specialist – Product Management (Disputes Platform)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist in Product Management to lead the next‑generation disputes platform. Based in Pune, you will work within a cross‑functional product and engineering team, collaborating with product managers, engineers, architects, UX designers, data scientists, and regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the requirements and roadmap execution for core components of the disputes platform.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer, operational, regulatory, and business requirements from global and regional teams.
• Define platform capabilities that balance global standardisation with local market flexibility.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Act as Product Owner for an agile development pod, maintaining and prioritising the product backlog.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture to ensure solutions align with platform strategy, extensibility and scalability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product ownership or product management within a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong ability to work with diverse, cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Comfortable in agile development processes and translating complex requirements into actionable items.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
