Senior Specialist – Global Mobility HR Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist to lead end‑to‑end global mobility services within its shared services model. The role focuses on complex relocation, immigration, and assignment cases while ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex, non‑standard, and high‑risk mobility cases across relocation, immigration, and assignment programs.
• Support global mobility initiatives, including policy‑driven employee moves and international assignments.
• Provide clear guidance on policies, processes, and mobility programs to deliver a superior employee experience.
• Ensure consistent policy application across regions while handling exceptions and non‑standard scenarios.
• Partner with internal teams (People Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, etc.) to execute smooth employee lifecycle transitions.
• Maintain compliance with mobility policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure service delivery, issue resolution, and audit readiness.
• Leverage data and reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of global mobility policies, immigration support, and relocation processes.
• Experience in a Global Mobility & HR Operations or Shared Services environment.
• Proven ability to handle complex, sensitive, or escalated employee cases.
• High attention to detail with focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk awareness.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases or workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to drive independent resolution.
