Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer)

About the role

NetApp is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer) in Bangalore to build scalable, cloud-native applications that power critical business workflows and AI-driven experiences. The role covers architecture, design, development, deployment and production support, with close partnership with product, architecture and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain full-stack applications using React and Node.js.
• Build and enhance scalable microservices and RESTful or GraphQL APIs following modern engineering standards.
• Design and implement secure, well-documented APIs for internal and external consumers.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into business workflows using agentic frameworks and orchestration platforms.
• Build and maintain AI agents, tool integrations, prompt workflows and MCP/tool-based interactions where applicable.
• Drive quality through unit testing, integration testing, automation and CI/CD practices.

Required profile

• Typically a minimum of 8 years of related experience for IC roles, or 6 years for Manager and Executive roles.
• Experience with Node.js, React, microservices and APIs; exposure to Agentic AI frameworks and LLM-powered applications.
