Senior Snowflake Data Engineer (Senior Associate)

About the role

We are seeking experienced and passionate Snowflake Data Engineers to join PwC’s Advisory data engineering team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, building and optimizing modern data pipelines on Snowflake and AWS, supporting our clients with high‑quality data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS.
• Design, develop, and optimise data pipelines and data models in Snowflake.
• Implement and maintain DBT workflows for data transformation and modelling.
• Write efficient, scalable SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Integrate data from various sources using Python.
• Orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow or similar tools.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and governance across the pipeline.
• Automate deployment and testing of data workflows using CI/CD tools.
• Optimise performance and cost of Snowflake workloads.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
• Senior Associate level (senior) role.
• BTech degree (or equivalent).
• SnowPro Core certification (mandatory).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving ability.
