Senior SAP BTP Developer

About the role

Join Assystem’s transformation programme as a Senior SAP BTP Developer. You will be the technical authority for SAP Business Technology Platform, delivering cloud‑native extensions and integrations that follow Clean Core and Side‑by‑Side Extensibility principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement SAP BTP extensions using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and/or Java.
• Build RESTful and OData APIs, event‑driven services and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Provide technical leadership: code reviews, architecture guidance and mentorship for junior team members.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments and ensure solution quality through testing and performance optimisation.
• (Nice to have) Create integrations with SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration (CPI) and API Management, linking SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with third‑party systems.

Required profile

• Senior‑level hands‑on developer with strong experience on SAP BTP.
• Proven ability to work as a technical authority within a delivery team.
• Solid understanding of SAP best practices, Clean Core and API‑First approaches.
