Senior Technical Consultant – Security GRC

About the role

AHEAD is seeking a senior technical consultant to act as the authoritative voice on security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) for its clients. You will diagnose program maturity, design target‑state operating models, quantify risk in business terms, and deliver frameworks and artifacts that clients can operate independently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi‑framework GRC engagements from scoping through knowledge transfer, including regulatory readiness, ISO 27001 ISMS design, and control rationalisation.
• Facilitate workshops with CISOs, internal audit, legal, procurement and business executives to drive decisions and produce commercial‑quality deliverables.
• Translate overlapping control frameworks into a single coherent control and evidence model and produce risk positions that combine qualitative judgment with quantification.
• Support pre‑sales activities by estimating effort, identifying delivery risks and defining success criteria.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in security GRC, risk, audit or control assurance, with substantial consulting or client‑advisory exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders, run workshops, write defensible executive‑level reports and transfer capability to client teams.
• Highly proficient written and spoken English meeting executive, audit and client‑delivery standards.
