Senior Quality Test Engineer I

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Test Engineer to drive the quality strategy for complex software systems. You will combine strong manual testing expertise with advanced programming skills to deliver comprehensive test coverage using modern web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans and strategies, identifying scope and risk for both manual and automated testing.
• Design and execute manual tests for complex features where automation is not yet feasible.
• Develop and maintain automated end‑to‑end test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
• Build and enhance automated solutions for functional and non‑functional testing, improving existing frameworks.
• Investigate production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and document findings.
• Collaborate with Development and Operations teams throughout the SDLC, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Share testing knowledge, provide guidance to less experienced engineers, and continuously improve testing practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of test automation engineering experience, preferably in SDET roles.
• Proven technical leadership in delivering high‑quality software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
