Senior Project Manager – Shallow Water Pipeline

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the execution of a shallow water pipeline EPC project, overseeing planning, client interfacing, stakeholder coordination, and delivery against schedule, cost, safety and quality targets. This role requires strategic oversight of multi‑disciplinary teams and proactive management of contractual and interface issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of the project baseline – schedule (L3/L4), cost budget, cash flow and risk matrix; finalize the execution plan with milestones and resource deployment.
• Track physical and financial progress, identify early‑warning indicators and support site teams with timely decisions.
• Chair weekly progress reviews with internal teams and the client, manage minutes, actions and issue resolution.
• Serve as primary client contact for execution discussions, claims, approvals and formal communications; manage variations, change orders and extensions of time.
• Monitor actual versus budgeted costs, trigger control measures, compile monthly invoicing and internal cost reports.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks to scope, schedule, cost and safety; coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and safety to remove bottlenecks.
• Guide discipline leads, resolve inter‑team conflicts, mentor high‑potential members and ensure clear role accountability.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
• 20+ years of experience delivering multi‑disciplinary EPC projects, including offshore or marine pipeline works.
