Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master

About the role

Morningstar’s Retirement business unit is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will also act as Scrum Master. Based in Mumbai, you will lead the delivery of complex, client‑facing initiatives while guiding multiple Agile teams through the Scrum framework.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams and removing impediments.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, including scope, timeline, risk, and dependency tracking.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, and deliverables across globally distributed teams.
• Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients, providing regular status updates and driving alignment.
• Track Agile metrics (velocity, burndown/burnup) and use data to improve delivery performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both Agile coaching and traditional project management.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills in a fast‑paced, globally distributed environment.
• Ability to balance Scrum leadership with structured project governance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
