Senior Network & Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network & Systems Administrator to join our dynamic engineering team in Kochi. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our enterprise network and server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs (SSL & IPSec), and firewall configurations.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortigate and Sophos firewalls, handling firewall rules and VPN connectivity.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Proxmox.
• Oversee backup and recovery operations using Veeam Backup solutions.
• Maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) and enterprise storage systems (Huawei, QNAP).
• Support DELL server hardware and network devices including HPE/Aruba, Huawei switches, and Unifi Access Points.
• Monitor infrastructure health with Zabbix and perform system upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and PowerShell and assist with certificate management.
• Troubleshoot database issues involving PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in network and systems administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
