Senior Member of Technical Staff – Product Development

About the role

AVEVA is looking for an experienced software engineer to join its Product Development team in Bangalore. You will work closely with product owners, stakeholders and a Scrum team to design and deliver cloud‑based industrial software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Team to define, design and implement features that meet business and customer needs.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot customer‑reported issues together with Customer Support and drive timely resolutions.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable, scalable code that is unit‑tested, reviewed and documented.
• Design and validate security requirements following industry‑standard cybersecurity practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in C#.NET / ASP.NET Core and enterprise cloud‑based application development.
• Proven experience with modern front‑end frameworks, especially Angular.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud‑native architecture and SQL Server.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, conduct design/code reviews and define engineering standards.
