Senior Manager – Workplace Management

About the role

Freshworks is seeking a Senior Manager to lead workplace operations across its three Indian offices in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Based in Chennai, you will be the regional point of contact, aligning global workplace standards with local execution to create safe, sustainable, high‑performance workspaces.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure 100% uptime of critical power and cooling infrastructure (UPS, DG sets, chillers) for uninterrupted IT services.
• Implement uniform SOPs for soft services (housekeeping, front‑of‑house) and hard services across all sites.
• Own the full asset lifecycle—from procurement and installation to planned preventive maintenance and decommissioning.
• Oversee large‑scale cafeteria operations, conduct vendor hygiene audits (FSSAI) and drive smart cafeteria initiatives.
• Manage a 24/7 employee transport network, optimizing routes, cost‑per‑seat and safety measures such as GPS tracking and female escort services.
• Lead regional physical security and administrative services to protect people and assets.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in multi‑site facilities or workplace management.
• Hands‑on expertise with critical infrastructure (power, cooling, UPS, DG sets, chillers).
• Strong background in vendor management, safety compliance and sustainability practices.
• Ability to coordinate high‑volume employee services (F&B, transport, security) in a 24/7 environment.
