About the role

upGrad is seeking a Senior Manager Talent Acquisition to lead end‑to‑end hiring for business, corporate, and leadership positions. You will work closely with senior leaders, shape hiring strategies, and build talent pipelines that support the company’s growth phase. This role combines strategic stakeholder management with hands‑on sourcing and recruitment execution.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for key business and leadership mandates.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to define hiring strategies based on talent needs.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
• Leverage market insights to identify and engage top talent across industries.
• Conduct talent research, market mapping, competitor intelligence, and candidate landscaping exercises.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the hiring process.
• Support and guide team members while maintaining high standards of execution.

Required profile

• Strong experience in leadership and niche hiring.
• Hands‑on expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, direct sourcing, and candidate engagement.
• Experience conducting talent research, market mapping, and talent intelligence projects.
• Ability to independently drive complex mandates from strategy to closure.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Prior experience mentoring or managing recruiters (preferred).
