Senior Manager – Search Engine Optimization

About the role

As a Senior Manager in Search Engine Optimization you will lead advanced SEO initiatives for multiple clients, driving organic traffic, rankings and visibility. You will operate within McKinsey’s Digital Marketing Hub (ETML team) and collaborate closely with performance‑marketing and analytics specialists to deliver measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with client business goals.
• Integrate SEO tactics with broader performance‑marketing campaigns to maximize ROI.
• Monitor, analyze and report on organic performance using analytics tools.
• Lead a workstream within the client service team, owning delivery and quality.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the hub’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO programs for B2C or B2B clients.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
