Senior Manager - Procurement & Logistics

About the role

SELCO Foundation, a not-for-profit public charitable trust founded in 2010 and based in Bangalore, is looking for a full-time Senior Manager for Procurement and Logistics. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer/Associate Director, starts immediately and has a 6-month probation period. Applications are processed on a rolling basis.

Key responsibilities

• Procure goods and services for the entire organisation and build a procurement strategy for all project locations based on the annual programme plan, covering pan-India execution.
• Upgrade procurement policies and guidelines.
• Mentor and manage a team of 10+ members.
• Create a sector-wise supplier database across geographies and negotiate the best rates and timelines.
• Hold regular planning and procurement resolution meetings to support timely operations.
• Write and publish tenders, process tender applications, handle agreements and work orders, and ensure filing, archiving and documentation of all procurements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in the relevant field, with a track record of procurement worth more than 50 crore.
• Ability to mentor and manage the procurement team and collaborate with other teams.
• Ability to evaluate quality of solar components, electrical components, health equipment and agricultural processing solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills; English, Hindi and Kannada are preferred.
