Warehousing & Distribution Specialist

About the role

The Warehousing & Distribution Specialist will manage transportation and distribution plans for finished products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining data quality across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive transportation plans, communicating status and delays to internal and external partners.
• Ensure master and transactional data quality, adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor subsystem parameters, conduct root‑cause analysis of exceptions, and identify optimization opportunities.
• Calculate short‑term transportation capacity, develop transport plans, and support decision‑making.
• Guide purchase of new transport means, analyze capacity, and manage cost‑effective operations.
• Coordinate introduction of new destinations into transportation plans.
• Facilitate daily inbound activities, handle overdue ASNs, delivery discrepancies, and rework coordination.
• Execute logistics duties, including transport outsourcing decisions and interface checks between SAP, Infodis, and LSP systems.
• Report on service provider performance and conduct regular reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar.
