Senior Manager – Procurement Lead (Manufacturing)

About the role

Bosch India is seeking a Senior Manager to lead procurement planning for its Powertrain Solutions plant in Jaipur. The role ensures on‑time delivery for critical value streams while minimizing cost and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement planning for the manufacturing plant.
• Identify and mitigate bottlenecks in the supply chain.
• Drive process improvements and implement global digital planning standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align production schedules with supplier capabilities.
• Lead a direct team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of agility and transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 10‑15 years of experience in logistics, purchasing or manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 4 years of dedicated supply‑chain experience.
• 2‑3 years of leadership experience managing direct reports.
• TP1 candidate status (internal eligibility).

Required skills

• Proficient use of SAP MM module.
• Strong knowledge of supply‑chain, procurement and inventory management.
• Understanding of automotive market dynamics and supplier management.
• Experience with digitisation and automation in logistics planning.
