Senior Manager Plant Engineering Head

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager Plant Engineering Head to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our plant maintenance system. The role ensures optimal machinery performance, minimizes downtime, and drives cost‑effective operation of all plant assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and implement a maintenance system that maximises efficiency, reduces costs and supports production output.
• Monitor daily operations, set operational goals and KPIs, and review performance with supply‑chain and finance teams.
• Lead monthly EHS reviews, safety committee meetings and drive safety programmes to mitigate hazards and near‑miss events.
• Develop and submit CAPEX business cases, liaise with design consultants, vendors and OEMs, and oversee technical bid preparation.
• Ensure timely, cost‑effective execution of major CAPEX projects, including budgeting, forecasting and capitalization.
• Manage asset registers, conduct half‑yearly asset reviews and oversee disposal in line with guidelines.
• Promote technology upgrades, productivity initiatives and an adaptive work culture together with the plant manager.
• Implement PepsiCo Excellence Maintenance Methodology (PeMM) and RECON for energy, water and waste optimisation.
• Control spare‑parts procurement, conduct physical verifications and categorise spares annually.
• Ensure compliance with statutory bodies and submit required reports through the online compliance portal.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in plant engineering, maintenance management and CAPEX execution.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations and safety programme implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders across finance, sustainability and operations.
• Track record of delivering cost‑effective projects while maintaining production uptime.
