Senior Manager – Civil Projects

About the role

The Senior Manager – Civil Projects will lead all civil engineering activities for power and energy projects, overseeing site preparation, foundations, structural works and finishing. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans aligned with scope, budget and timeline.
• Enforce stringent quality control procedures and conduct regular site inspections.
• Serve as primary liaison among contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate human and material resources with procurement, logistics and HR.
• Identify and mitigate civil‑construction risks, including site conditions and regulatory delays.
• Monitor civil project budgets, approve expenditures and recommend cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations per Adani policies.
• Mentor engineering and site teams, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, technical documentation and compliance records for senior management and regulators.
• Promote innovative and sustainable construction techniques aligned with corporate stewardship goals.
