Senior Manager – Accounts (Finance & Accounting)

About the role

Sun Pharma is looking for a Senior Manager – Accounts to lead its global finance and accounts function from its Mumbai office. The role will oversee inter‑company invoicing, GST compliance and month‑end closing while ensuring accurate financial reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable activities, including inter‑company and inter‑unit invoice booking.
• Perform inter‑unit reconciliations and monitor the global chart of accounts.
• Lead GST annual reconciliation and coordinate with the SSC payment team and purchase team to resolve issues.
• Execute monthly and quarterly closing tasks, such as Ex‑India provision booking and analysis.
• Prepare management information system (MIS) reports for Ex‑India expenses.
• Ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate accounting.
• Educational background: MBA in Finance, CA Inter, ICWA, CFA, M.Com or equivalent professional degree.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of SAP finance modules.
• Experience with GST and TDS compliance.
• Familiarity with INDAS Travel Estimate tool.
