Senior Lead Engineer - ServiceNow

About the role

NXP is looking for a Senior Lead Engineer (ServiceNow) in Bangalore to join its R&D automation team. As a ServiceNow developer, you will promote automation and innovation, optimise end-user workflows and build new automation flows so that the R&D business unit gets a high-quality, self-service, fully automated platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain ServiceNow flows that help deploy automated catalog items.
• Develop and maintain new components of the platform.
• Act as technical expert advising the organisation on how to improve automation and help execute those improvements.
• Work with other developers, operations staff and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to every development phase, from problem analysis and design through implementation, testing and bug fixing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Seven years of experience in ServiceNow development and operations.
• Solid DevOps mindset and ability to evaluate and optimise DevOps processes using Lean or Agile.
• Good understanding of IT solutions and processes.
• Team player who values collaboration.
