Senior Java Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, J2EE, SQL, Tomcat, and JSF. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of hands‑on JSF experience and have worked with UI frameworks such as PrimeFaces, RichFaces, or IceFaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Develop robust applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Work extensively with JSF and related UI frameworks.
• Develop and maintain applications using Hibernate, Java/J2EE, SQL, and Tomcat.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in technical discussions, analysis, and solution design.
• Support business activities in addition to core development responsibilities.
• Work effectively within a small development team.
• Deliver high‑quality, maintainable, and production‑ready code.

Required profile

• 8 + years of overall experience in senior Java development.
• 2 + years of hands‑on JSF experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work the UK shift (2 PM – 11 PM IST) and five days per week from the Chennai office.
• Comfortable working in a small‑team environment.
