Senior Java Developer – AWS & Microservices (Hybrid, Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a high‑impact engineering team that is modernising a large‑scale order management platform. The role focuses on building cloud‑native, microservice‑based solutions on AWS to support high‑volume, mission‑critical order fulfillment workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java (8/11) and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain cloud‑native microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Develop and optimise order fulfillment workflows using orchestration tools such as Netflix Conductor or AWS Step Functions.
• Integrate AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, etc.) for scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimise performance for relational and non‑relational stores.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide scalable resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architecture decisions.
• Ensure high‑quality delivery through testing, CI/CD pipelines and observability practices.

Required profile

• 7–15 years of experience in backend or microservices development.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging and Agile development experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
